Abstract
A novel polypyridine ruthenium(II)/osmium(II) heterobinuclear complex (2) was synthesized. The luminescence properties of 2 were compared with those of its component complex. In 2, the efficient intramolecular energy transfer from excited Ru(II) to Os(II) complex was observed and interpreted by Foerster mechanism. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
