Abstract
A simplified but accurate treatment of the theory of adsorption chromatography is presented. The resulting transport equations (which apply to single and multiple adsorbates) are easy to comprehend and apply. Several useful methods are discussed for determining quantitatively the transport of concentration shocks. Keywords
