Abstract
A mechanical integrator is described which evaluates doses due to scattered radiation in radiotherapy. It is based on Clarkson's method, in which the only information needed is the variation of the central axis depth doses with the surface radius of circular fields. The machine is applicable to fields of any shape. Keywords
