Inelastic Scattering of ?-Particles by 60 Ni

Abstract

Data of a ⁶⁰Ni(α, α') ⁶⁰Ni^* reaction was analyzed in terms of the coupled-channel calculations. Good agreement with experimental scattering cross sections was obtained, and from such an agreement spectroscopic informations on ⁶⁰Ni were derived. These informations turned out to be in good accord with what sere derived from a similar analysis of a ⁶⁰Ni(d, d') ⁶⁰Ni^* data.
