Abstract
A British physician maintains that physician ignorance of the religious beliefs and needs of dying patients and their relatives is "unforgivable." He provides his colleagues with brief descriptions of the attitudes and practices of Hindu, Sikh, and Moslem residents of Asian origin in Britain regarding the death of adults, young children, and fetuses; mourning; autopsies; organ donation and transplantation; abortion; and prenatal testing and genetic counseling. Keywords
