Abstract
The lacunae ure-thrales (lacunae Morgagni) usually exist in a double row but may occur in a single line, or partly double and single combined. The lacunae bear no relation to the urethral glands, though many writers state that the glands empty partly into the lacunae. In the series studied the smallest number of lacuna was 4 and the largest 16. For the glandu-lae urethrales the classification of Herzog is accepted mucous glands (follicles); submucous glands (glands of Littre). The relation of an entire gland of Littre to the mucosa is shown. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
