Abstract
The various methods of managing bladder exstrophy are described. Bladder reconstruction and ureterosigmoidostomy are discussed and evaluated. The satisfactory results obtained with 21 patients treated by the Heitz Boyer-Hovelacque operation are reported and it is concluded that this is the procedure of choice when urinary diversion is needed for the exstrophic bladder. Keywords
