Abstract
The theoretical implications of various experiments relating to the electromagnetic structure of nucleons are examined in the light of current field theory. It is concluded either that the nucleon core is about three times as large as would be expected from intuitive considerations of meson theory, or that there is some inconsistency in the present field theory. Keywords
