Entanglement associated with mutually unbiased bases

Abstract

We consider a particular family of two-particle entangled states which have a simple association with mutually unbiased bases of a single particle. We study this relation for power-prime as well as infinite dimensional Hilbert space. These results have an immediate application to quantum cryptography.
