Abstract
Over 100 judokas, a large training tatami and the shower room floors were examined by various methods. Cultures showed that Trichophyton rubrum, though as frequent as T. interdigitale on the feet of sportsmen was much less frequent on the training tatami; it was not isolated from the shower room floors. Some contaminants were isolated in great quantity from the shower rooms. The problem of fungal contamination in judo artists is obvious. Some prophylactic measures are proposed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
