Abstract
The influence of atomic ordering on the spin waves in Ni0.75Fe0.25 alloy was investigated by inelastic neutron scattering. The spin wave stiffness constant D for the annealed, quenched and 'as grown' samples was measured. Surprisingly high sensitivity of D to atomic ordering, amounting to a 30% increase, is demonstrated. Keywords
