Abstract
The results of the two validation studies ( Ns = 28 males; 34 females) indicate that the scale of 41 MMPI items does significantly predict which of two individuals will dominate in a decision-making situation. The scale predicts best when the scale score difference between the pairs is at least 12. Sex differences were also noted in the techniques used to dominate. Keywords
