Abstract
The hyperfine structure of the vibration-rotation transitions of H is calculated to an accuracy of ± 0.5 MHz. The theoretical spectra confirm the experimental observation that only lines near the center of each transition are intense enough to be detected by the present experiments. The complete spectrum is some 1500 MHz wide and contains structure which has not yet been resolved.
