Abstract
Toxaphene residues were analysed by two different sample preparation methods and by detection methods such as GC‐ECD, GC‐FID, GC/MS‐EI/SIM and GC/MS‐NCI/SIM. The sample preparation steps were based on our further published method.1 The detection methods were compared and discussed in consideration of linearities, detection limits and practical use of these methods for residue analysis of chloroterpenes. Cod liver oils were used as model samples. Keywords
