Ecological Notes on a Gymnophalline Metacercaria from the Brachiopod Glottidia pyramidata

Abstract
Unidentified trematode larvae were observed to live in their host''s coelomic spaces, particularly feeding on the gonad. Their occurrence is seasonal, the maximum infection (89%) being reached during late summer. Local variations in infection incidence and possible other life history stages are discussed.
