Abstract
Summary: This paper presents an analytical solution to describe the pressure buildup for wells produced at constant bottomhole pressures (BHP's) in an infinite-acting reservoir. The buildup equation is derived on the basis of an initial condition approximating the pressure profile in the wellbore and in the reservoir at the time of shut-in.Keywords
