Long- and short-distance contributions to kaon decays

Abstract
We work out in detail both the long- and short-distance graphs for , , , and decays. The long-distance amplitudes, which we find to dominate, are related to the ΔI=(1/2) enhancement in and decays. The short-distance diagrams contribute typically about 20%.
