A possible vascular factor in the aetiology of duodenal ulceration

Abstract

Study of vascular pathways showed a variation of pattern localized to the ulcer-bearing area of the duodenum in 7 out of 10 specimens. This together with gastric distension may afford an explanation of the localization of duodenal ulcers.
