Abstract
Metabolic mutants of Mvcobacterium tuberculosis, strain 607, requiring amino acids, vitamins, purines, pyrimidines, or lactate for growth have been produced by UV radiation. Mutants responding to compounds related to fat or carbohydrate metabolism appear to be relatively frequent.Keywords
