Abstract
Alliin has been reported to have antioxidative activity. We tried to reexamine the antioxidative activity of alliin with a purified alliin preparation, and found that it has no antioxidative activity in a linoleic acid oxidation system. The reducing activity of alliin tested by the ECD method was also weak in showing antioxidative activity.Keywords
