Abstract
Definite ITP [immunologic thrombocytopenic purpura] was investigated for HLA-A, -B, -C antigens in 79 patients. There was an increased frequency of HLA-B5 in the entire group (27.8% vs. 16.5% in controls) and for HLA-B12 in male patients. After correction for number of antigens tested, the difference of antigen frequencies became insignificant. Keywords
