Abstract
Analysis is made of previous studies of correlation of mortality of spouses that were based on truncated data (where both spouses died within a certain period of years). The current analysis is performed on the basis of theoretical populations in which no such correlation is assumed. The results of using truncated sections in these theoretical populations show spurious correlation to exist and thus indicate that the previous studies did not contain significant findings that the mortality of spouses has a strong correlation. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
