Abstract
One area of uncertainty on death and dying relates to the stability of concern about death. Such concern has either been viewed as a variable phenomenon or as an enduring state. A large number of instruments for measuring concern about death are available. Some questionnaires e.g., the Fear of Death and Fear of Dying Scales, report no reliabilities. Dickstein''s Death Concern Scale was administered to 9 male and 23 female undergraduates and their concern about death before and after a 15 wk seminar on death and dying was assessed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
