Organizational Influence on Value Systems

Abstract
Values, which supposedly are of the essence in the administrative process, are examined as correlates of social perceptions in organizations. Some technical criticisms are raised against the OCDQ as a means of climate assessment and some evidence adduced for a shift in value orientation with promotion in the hierarchy. Dr. Hodgkinson is Assistant Professor of Educational Administration at the University of Victoria.
