Abstract
Values, which supposedly are of the essence in the administrative process, are examined as correlates of social perceptions in organizations. Some technical criticisms are raised against the OCDQ as a means of climate assessment and some evidence adduced for a shift in value orientation with promotion in the hierarchy.
