Abstract
Summary.: Motor responses from the gastro‐intestinal tract were produced by topic stimulation in the anterior sigmoid gyms and the genual gyrus of the frontal lobe, in a region including the putamen, the globus pallidus and the lobus olfactorius anterior, and of hypothalamic structures at the infundibular and mamillary levels.Bladder contractions were obtained on topic stimulation in the genual gyms of the frontal lobe, the anterior part of the nucleus caudatus and in other basal regions shown to yield gastro‐intestinal responses. Keywords
