Abstract
An analysis of interactions at 6 BeV/c indicates the presence of a nucleon resonance with mass near 2.0 , with decay modes , , and . A peripheral production model for the reaction gives excellent agreement with the data, with a cross section for production and subsequent decay into of 13±3 μb.
