Abstract
An oscillating field gradient technique is described. It is a variant of the phase encoding concept utilised by Edelstein et al. (1980) and Kuman et al. (1975) in their imaging methods. The technique accommodates both variable plane thickness and shape, and enables the simultaneous measurement of a set of planes. Keywords
