Abstract
Intramolecular hydrogen bonding of the title compounds was investigated by measuring their infrared spectra in the OH, NH, and C=O stretching regions. The results showed that the intramolecular hydrogen bonding in the salicyloyl moiety plays an important role in the antibacterial activities of these salicylanilides. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
