Abstract
Two cases of pacemaker lead fracture associated with weightlifting are presented. This is a rare association which has only recently been described in the literature. In both cases, the pacemaker lead was fractured between the clavicle and the first rib, suggesting crush injury. The chest X-ray, pacemaker telemetry with measurement of lead impedance, and pacemaker reprogramming were all helpful in management. Keywords
