Counting of flexor spasms

Abstract
A method is described which is able to convert muscular contraction to a top [single level on a curve], which can be counted electronically or visually. Such contractions are found much more frequently in patients with flexor spasms than in normal subjects during studies over 6-9 h during the night. The method is of value in long-term recording, in evaluating antispastic therapy and in analyzing factors influencing flexor spasms.
