Abstract
Ab initio calculations of the level structures of core-excited configurations near the photoionisation threshold of K+ suggest that the current assignment is in error. The authors suggest that the resonances at 35.5 and 39.8 eV are predominantly due to 3s3p64p 1P and 3s3p65p 1P respectively. Keywords
