Abstract
For the transmission of power from Boulder Dam to the system of the Southern California Edison Company, numerous studies were made to determine the power limits of various designs of transmission lines, and the maximum generating capacity that could be installed safely at Boulder Dam without incurring instability. These studies were made for various design features and types of load and faults. The results of the studies are presented in this paper, a description of the method used being included in the appendixes. Keywords
