Abstract
Tunicamycin, an inhibitor of glycoprotein synthesis, inhibits the development of the sea Urchin egg. Gastrulation is very sensitive to the Tunicamycin. Fertilization is not inhibited. 2-deoxy-D-glucose inhibits gastrulation and induces the hyperdevelopment of ectodermic structures. Keywords
