Abstract
Elderly people often cannot distinguish between symptoms of disease and symptoms they attribute to the aging process. This complicates the problem of initiating preventive geriatric medicine. Some of the problem can be solved by health centers that coordinate home services, voluntary agencies, and health and hospital care to provide a disease prevention and detection service for the elderly. Keywords
