Abstract
During a 29-month period, 11 (12%) of 92 hospitalized patients with influenza B virus infection presented neurologic manifestations, which included febrile seizure in 4 cases and encephalopathy/encephalitis in 7 cases. Without appropriate antiviral therapy, recovery was uneventful in all but 1 patient, who had neurologic sequelae of quadriplegia and developmental delay. Keywords
