Abstract
The experimental technique developed by Michotte (see 22: 1004) was employed with 34 adults and 34 second grade children (average C.A. 7 years). Michotte''s findings of perception of causality by adults were confirmed. Children also report such perceptions but they report a passing phenomenon, never experienced by the adult Os, and a mutual-approach movement significantly more often than adults. An explanation is suggested in terms of "developmental differences in the perception of stroboscopic movement.".Keywords
