Abstract
A space-charge model for electrolyte transport in charged capillary pores was employed in order to determine the pore wall charge from membrane potential measurements. These measurements have been performed at 20°C for two Nuclepore polycarbonate membranes of different pore size in LiCl and MgCl2 solutions with concentrations ranging from 10−1 to 102 mol/m3.Keywords
