Abstract
Oxime esters, such as acetone O-alkanoyl-, O-alkenoyl- or O-benzyloxycarbonyloximes, react with amines under extremely mild conditions to give the corresponding amides in very good yield. When amino alcohols are used a total chemoselectivity is observed. Keywords
