Abstract
Adult white Swiss female mice were housed in large groups (20 females/cage) to suppress estrous cycles (anestrus; Whitten, 1959). After suppression of cycles was observed, the females were examined for evidence of anestrus, and to fully characterize the period of prolonged diestrus resulting from the grouping stimulus. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
