Abstract
Reaction of [ZnI2{Me2NC(:S)S2C(:S)NMe2}] with PPh3 afforded, inter alia, [Ph3PC(:S)NMe2][ZnI2(S2CNMe2)], and [Ph3PC(:S)NMe2][ZnI3(PPh3)]; the anions [ZnX2(S2CNR2)]–(X = halide) and [Zn(S2CNR1 2)2(S2CNR2)]– were obtained by addition of (S2CNR2)– to ZnX2 and [Zn(S2CNR1 2)2] respectively, while addition of (S2CNMe2)– to [Ni{S2CNH(p-tolyl)}2] afforded the trithiocarbamate ion, {S3CNH(p-tolyl)}–.Keywords
