Abstract
A general method is described for obtaining a map of the variation of the electronic lifetime over the entire Fermi surface using the Dingle temperatures measured in the de Haas-van Alphen effect. The method is illustrated by presenting maps of the variation of the electron-impurity scattering lifetime for Au:Ag and Au:Fe dilute alloys. Keywords
