Abstract
Two-dimensional measurements of X-ray patterns are taken with a spectrally-colored X-ray TV by scanning an X-ray beam. At the beginning, Laue patterns are illustrated. X-ray photons diffracted in a fixed direction are detected by a solid-state detector, whose output pulses are distributed to three color channels by PHA and displayed with colored point flashes on the color CRT, i.e., information on wavelength in Laue spots is given by coloring them. The capability of this method is demonstrated by some examples such as identification of single crystals, determination of orientations and observation of wavelength distribution in a Laue spot. Keywords
