Abstract
This method, devised to meet the need for a simple method of estimating penicillin levels of a lower order than that readily measured with accuracy by the agar cup plate method, utilizes a strain of Bacillus subtilis which was found to be highly sensitive to penicillin, which could be grown and maintained on common laboratory media with a minimum of effort, and which was found to give sharp and reproducible results. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
