Abstract
In 1950 the author published a paper entitled ‘The Mites (Acarina) parasitic on Mammals, Birds and Reptiles’ in which it was stated that the subject of feather mites (Analgesidae) was too big to be included in that work, and though they were parasitic throughout their life upon the host or in the quills of the feathers they should be made the subject of a separate paper. Keywords
