The Coming of Age of Adolescent Immunization

Pediatric Annals | In the early 1990s, programs to promote immunization for infants and young children were established and eventually resulted in significantly improved immunization rates for these groups. However, adolescent immunization rates continued to lag. By 1996, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Academy of Family Physicians
