Abstract
The single species constituting each of the osmylid subfamilies Porisminae [Porismus strigatus (Burmeister)] and Eidoporisminae (Eidoporismus pulchellus Esben-Petersen) are redescribed and figured. Both groups appear to be valid, and a key is given to subfamilies of Osmylidae in Australia. Keywords
