Kurzfristige Ergebnisse (2 bis 5 Jahre) der Hydroxylapatit-beschichteten Hüftendoprothesen vom Typ Furlong

Abstract
Die klinische Wertigkeit Hydroxylapatit-beschichteter Prothesensysteme war anhand mittelfristiger Ergebnisse der Hüftprothetik nach Implantation einer mit Hydroxylapatit beschichteten Schaftprothese vom Typ Furlong zu überprüfen. 233 Patienten mit einer durchschnittlichen Prothesenstandzeit von 2,94 Jahren wurden radiologisch und nach dem Schema von Merle d'Aubigné nachuntersucht. Die Resultate konnten bei Primärimplantationen eine Steigerung der Punktzahl von 7 auf 16, nach Wechseloperationen von 6 auf 12 nachweisen. Ein ventraler Femurschmerz sowie aseptische Schaftlockerungen traten nicht auf. Hydroxylapatitbeschichtung und Formgebung des Prothesenschaftes vom Typ Furlong zeigen kurzfristig eine solide Verankerung. The short term clinical and radiological results of a hydroxyapatite-coated hip prosthesis with bonding osteogenesis on the hydroxyapatite ceramic and bony tissue reaction had to be studied. 233 patients who had hip replacement were followed up for two to five years and assessed radiologically and by the Merle D'Aubigné rating. Primary total hip arthroplasty as well as revision arthroplasty show sufficient clinical results. Tight pain and aseptic loosening of the stem did not occur. Hydroxyapatite-coating and contour for the Furlong hip prosthesis show a reliable short term anchorage.
