Abstract
Permanently poled crystals of L-alanine doped, mixed triglycine sulphate/selenate have been grown and their pyroelectric and dielectric properties evaluated. The performance of some pyroelectric detectors using these crystals has been measured and found to be superior to equivalent detectors made from L-alanine doped triglycine sulphate. Keywords
