Abstract
Die Bedeutung von Gefäßveränderungen an der A. carotis interna in ihrem Verlauf am Halse wird beschrieben. Die verschiedenen Formen der Wandveränderungen, bedingt durch organische Gefäßwanderkrankungen oder funktionelle Kontraktionen der Gefäßmuskulatur auf den Reiz der Angiographie, können in vielen Fällen unterschieden werden. The importance of vascular alterations in the cervical part of the carotid artery is described. The mural changes are caused by organic vascular diseases or by functional contractions of the muscular layer. These various types can be differentiated in many cases. Description de l'importance des modifications vasculaires de la carotide interne sur son parcours cervical. Les différentes formes des lésions des parois de l'artère — résultant d'affections organiques des parois ou de contractions fonctionnelles de la musculature vasculaire répondant à l'irritation produite par l'angiographie — peuvent être différenciées dans de nombreux cas.
