Abstract
Fourteen men with intractable psychogenic pain shared a cluster of characteristics: (1) psychogenic pain, (2) solitary hunting, (3) problems with aggression, and (4) depression. All except one showed, in addition, one or more of the following: a marked interest in driving or "hot rods;" accident-prone behavior; and problems with work, school, and success. The pain is discussed in relationship to aggression. Some recommendations about treatment are made. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
